Reservations are needed at the Gourmet Blood Clinic. Donors snack on treats created by world famous chefs.
During the month of September, famous Catalonian chefs are creating snacks as incentives to give blood in a campaign called Tinc Sang de Sibarita - I have the Blood of a Gourmet.
Each week a different chef from a top Barcelona restaurant will prepare snacks which will be available to donors after they have given blood.
Fermi Puig of El Drolma, Ada Parellada of Semproniana, and Fabián Martín of Pizzeria Fabián will prepare the food in September.
Ferran Adrià of El Bulli, often listed as the world's greatest chef, will prepare dishes in October.
Reservations are now being taken online for December.
